David Scot Murdock

David Scot Murdock, 60, of Massillon, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2014, following an extended illness. He was born in Massillon on November 18, 1954 to the late Barbara Peters Murdock and David Murdock of Massillon. He worked in the construction trades at Murdock and Murdock Masonry and for Schumacher Homes. Scot enjoyed fishing and baseball. He was dedicated to his family. Scot is also survived by his companion, Pamela Messenger; his children, Jenny Murdock, Kara (Josh) Sommers and Jennifer McCann; seven, grandchildren, Jaden, Austin, Preston, Ella, Tyler, Savannah and Liberty; brother, Broc (Kelly) Murdock; and a nephew, Cole Murdock. He is also preceded in death by his son Jason Murdock. Friends and family will gather on Monday, December 22, 2014 from 1:00PM – 2:00PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home with a memorial service to be held at 2:00PM.
