David L. Murray

David L. Murray, 54 of Massillon, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 15, 2010. He was born on December 19, 1955 in Massillon and was a lifelong area resident. He was a 1974 graduate of Washington High School. He retired from SARTA several years ago. David was a member of the Massillon Baptist Temple. He loved to fish and hunt. He was preceded in death by his first wife Laurene Murray and his father James P. Murray. He is survived by his wife, Karen S. Murray whom he married on April 1, 2001, his son Steve A. Murray of Navarre, his stepdaughter, Amy (Bobby) Harris of Victoria, TX, his mother Helen L. Murray of Massillon, his grandchildren Lee Gwynn and Cheyenne Harris, his brothers, Danny (Esther) Murray of Dover, Donald Murray of Jewett, Ohio, Dennis (Helen) Murray of Navarre and his sister Martha Murray of Massillon. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday at 1:00 P.M. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with Dr. W. Jay Dolvin officiating.
