David L. Braid

David L. Braid, 72, passed away on February 27, 2022. He was born in Alliance on May 31, 1949. A 1967 graduate of Jackson High School, David was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a retiree of The Timken Company. David was a huge Massillon Tiger Football Fan never missing a game. He was dedicated to his family and had a huge heart and personality. He never met a stranger. He is survived by his loving wife, Cheryll (Caron) Braid, whom he married on July 27, 1974; their children, Chandra (Alex) Davis and Jeffery (Traci) Braid; grandchildren, Kevin (Tiffany), Eric, Courtney (Richard), Bennett, Everett and Violet; great-grandchildren, Kenna, Mason, Brooklynn, Braxton, Kenzie, Paisley and Gracie; brothers, Don (Beverly) Braid and John (Ruth) Braid; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded by his father, Daniel E. Braid; mother, Virginia (Smith) Fahrni; and brother Daniel Braid Friends may call on Thursday, March 3, 2022 from 6pm-8pm at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 4, 2022 at 1030am in the Paquelet Funeral Home, Rev. Gary Smith officiating. Burial will follow in North Lawn Cemetery.
