David Kalleker

David Ralph Kalleker, 76, of Massillon passed away Monday March 16, 2009 at Affinity Medical Center, Massillon after a lengthy illness. He was born February 21, 1933 in Maumee, OH the son of Ralph H. and Mildred (Stonebrook) Kalleker. David was a personal lines underwriter for Nationwide Insurance Co. He graduated from Massillon Washington High School and Kent State University with a B.S. in Business Administration. He then served four years as an officer in the United States Marine Corp. He was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ, the Clinton Lodge F. & A.M. #47, the Amvets, and the Sons of Herman. David enjoyed spending time with his family, reading, and telling a good joke. He is survived by daughters Donna Jean Kalleker, Kathy Kalleker Nolan and husband Robert all of Massillon. He was preceded in death by his wife Jean (Thomas) Kalleker on June 10, 2005, his parents, and brother, John Kalleker. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5-7 P.M. at the Paquelet Funeral Home 1100 Wales Rd. NE. A memorial service will be held Thursday at 11:00 A.M. at St. Johns United Church of Christ Massillon, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Rev.
