David K. Pfisterer

David K. Pfisterer age 73 of Massillon went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, May 11, 2011. Dave was born May 6, 1938 in Canton to the late Virgil & Martha (Berring) Pfisterer. He was a 1956 graduate of Central Catholic High School, a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran, a Canton City Police Officer, and he worked in insurance and sales throughout his life. Dave was a devoted, loving and involved Dad who dedicated his life towards loving, guiding and developing his children and grandchildren in their personal and professional endeavors, often as a coach, always as a loving Dad. He is survived by his four children; David (Bronc) and Amanda Pfisterer of Jacksonville, FL, Mark (Hoagy) Pfisterer of Massillon, Tricia and Mark Lau of Navarre, Jacob (Rocky) Pfisterer of Painesville and Dave's sister, Nancy Gabriel of Canton and eight grandchildren. A Memorial Service celebrating Dave's life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 14th at Stanwood Community Church at 14715 Stanwood St. S.W. in Navarre.
