David J. Zepp

David J. Zepp, 81, of Massillon, passed away at his home on September 17, 2017 surrounded by his family. He was born on April 26, 1936 in Massillon, Ohio to the late Herman and Mary (Summers) Zepp. He married Myra Shriver on June 29, 1957. They shared 60 loving years together. He enjoyed over 25 years of retirement going to breakfast everyday with his wife and driving his sports car. David was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who always put his family first. David was a retired union plumber and pipefitter. He was a proud member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union 94 for 60 years. He served his country in the United States Army in Korea and was a member of the AMVETS Post OH-6. He will be deeply missed by his wife Myra; children Victoria (Kevin) Smith, Christine (Rick) Preusser and David (Missy) Zepp; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. In keeping with the family’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Stark County Humane Society.
