David J. Aventino

David J. Aventino, age 52 passed away on December 04, 2014 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born on May 08, 1962 in Canton, OH to Larry and Gerri Aventino of Massillon. David graduated from Perry High School in 1980, attended Kent State University. He married Laura on September 05, 1997. David was employed Oster Enterprises as a Plant and Lab Manager for nearly 20 years; ODOT Certified, Level 3 in asphalt & aggregate. During David's healthier years, he played many sports, obtained a Black Belt in Karate, was an avid hunter with gun and bow; also loved riding his Harley Davidson and riding horses with Laura. He was skilled in home remodeling helping family and friends. David had a zest for life. He will be missed by those whose lives he touched. David is survived by his wife Laura; his son; Lucas; his stepdaughter Melissa Mullane; his stepson Tristan Mullane; his loving parents who also helped him through his battle with diabetes. He is also survived by his twin brother Mark (Lynn) Westerville, OH; his brother Joseph (Jennifer) of Akron, OH; his sister Michele (Ed) Dotson of Cuyahoga Falls, OH along with many nieces, nephews and extended family. A Celebration of his life will be held Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 1P.M. at the Rivertree Christian Church, 7373 Portage Street NW, Massillon, OH.
