David H. Amstutz

David H. Amstutz, age 74; of Navarre, passed away on August 06, 2017. He was born in Canton on October 28, 1942 to the late Daniel and Elizabeth Amstutz. He was a 1961 graduate of Glenwood High School. He served in the Army National Guard. He owned and operated Amstutz Family Restaurant, D.D. Stutz’s Restaurant and Catering, and Jack on the Bone International Rib Team for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, gambling, cooking and visiting his two favorite places Ocean City, Maryland and Las Vegas. David was a member of Canton Masonic Lodge #60. He is survived by his children Daniel (Becky) Amstutz, Amber (Ellery) Moore, Alexandrea Amstutz, Ashley (James) Groetz, Cole (Jaime) Dittmer, and Drew (Karlee) Dittmer; his grandchildren Taylor, Maddie, Brock, Jay, Justine, Jessica, Julia, Axel, Darius, Chance, Michelle and his special sweetheart Evelyn; his beloved friends Harry Marburger and Russ Miller as well as a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother Ted Amstutz. A Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 12 noon. The family will receive friends from 10a.m. until the time of the service.
