David E. Hayes

David E. Hayes, 82, passed away on January 22, 2022. He was born in Canton on September 18, 1939 to the late Karl F. and Alma (Dexter) Hayes. A veteran of The United States Army serving from 1963-1965, he retired from the Timken Company. David was dedicated to his family and an avid OSU Fan. He is survived by his wife, Ruth (Lindemood) Hayes, his five children James (Denise) Hayes, Timothy (Kelly Alexander) Hayes, Kelly (Kevin) Stanoyevic, Todd (Joanne) Hayes and Valerie (Michael) LaBar as well as 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by siblings Emma Jean Herron and Jim Hayes and 4 grandchildren. A Private Family Gathering was held.
