David "Dave" Anthony Marceric

David “Dave” A. Marceric, age 56 of Massillon, passed away on, Wednesday, November 24, 2021. He was born on March 04, 1965 to Sandra and the late Anthony Marceric. Dave was a 1983 graduate of Massillon Washington High School, where he played as a Linebacker for football team. He married Elizabeth “Beth” Prentice on March 18, 1995 and they shared 26 years together. Dave was Lift Truck Operator at Americold Logistic. He was a diehard Massillon Tiger and Ohio State Buckeyes fan and also known a Jack of all trade, when it came to fixing things. The pride and joy of his life was his wife, children, and granddaughter, spending time going dinner and the movies and any family function. Dave was a member of the Sons and Daughters of Herman and the Canton Maddogs Rugby Team. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Beth; their children Brittany (Ryan) Close and Brandon Marceric; granddaughter Kennedy Anne Close; mother Sandra Marceric; ; brother Tim (Sue) Marceric; sister Dana (Dave Yutzy) Marceric; Mother-in-law Sandra Prentice; Father-in-law William (Betty) Prentice; niece Sydney (Mike) Yunkin; nephew Zach (Melissa) Marceric and a host of family and friends. In addition to his father, Dave was preceded in death by his grandparents Dorothy and Verdon Skolmutch; Catherine and Ralph Marceric and his brother-in-law Michael Prentice. A Graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 02, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Brookfield Cemetery. Donations in Dave’s memory can be made to Massillon Tigers Football Booster Club.
