David A. Hanson

David A. Hanson, 65 of Perry Township, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at his home with his family at his side. He was born on July 16, 1951 in Cleveland, Ohio and was the son of the late William and Joan (Furniss) Hanson. He was a 1969 graduate of Glenwood High School. He went on to work at Valley Systems, Kimble Mixer and retired from American Road Machine. He was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Navarre. Dave is survived by his wife, Sandra K. (Reusser) Hanson, his daughter Shelly Vranich and her husband Mike and their children, Claire and Michael and his son Joel Hanson and his wife Abby and their children Jocelyn and Drew. Also surviving are his sister Sue Palmer and his brothers, Jack Hanson and his wife Lisa and Jeff Hanson and his wife Melanie. A memorial gathering will take place on Monday from 5-8 p.m. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. A private graveside service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Dave's name to either St. Paul United Church of Christ or Crossroads Hospice.
