Darrell R. Hines

Darrell R. Hines, age 64 of Canton, died on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at Gaslite Villa. He was born on November 18, 1947 in Massillon and was the son of the late Roy and Delila (Schaar) Hines. Upon graduation from Perry High School in 1965, Darrell served in both the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy during the Viet Nam era. He retired from Lucent Technologies where he was a technician. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda (Jones) Hines. He is survived by his twin sister Darlene K. Mock, his nieces, Brenda (Brad) Craley and Michelle (Sam) Hardwick, his great niece Amanda Craley and great nephew Tyler Hardwick, his step brothers, Mark (Suzanne) Boron and Matthew (Cathy) Boron and his step sisters Kay (Gary) Thomas and Laurie (Bruce) Inskeep. Funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 A.M. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with Dr. Darrell Holmes officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10-11 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to either Mercy Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association.
