Danny L. Wagster

Danny L. Wagster, age 66, of Massillon, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his family. Danny was born on December 24, 1946 in Akron, OH the son of the late Kenneth and Doris (Briggs) Wagster. Danny was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a United States Army veteran serving our country during Vietnam. Danny was a long distance truck driver retiring after 38 years. He enjoyed word search books and classic country music. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his nephew Lt. Robert Forwalder. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Wanda (Turner) Wagster with whom he married on April 30, 2006; his children, Brian Wagster and Jennifer Gardner; his grandchildren, Jenna Wagster, and Aaron and Jason Gardner; his sister, Beverly (Mel) Forwalder; his brother John (Lulu) Wagster; and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Danny's Life will be held on Monday, April 29, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home in Massillon. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Park in Akron. The family will receive friends on Monday from 11- 1p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
