Danielle Marie Flood

Danielle (Gardner) Flood, age 42 passed away on July 01, 2016. She was born on October 10, 1973 in Massillon to Roger Poindexter and the late Loretta Jo Gardner. Danielle was known as a loving and outgoing person, who would do anything for anybody. She was a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers fan. She will forever be remembered as a devoted, loving and caring mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She is survived by her daughters, Marissa (Kasey) Schmidt and Brianna (Brooke) Flood; her grandchildren Acacia Cottrill, Karter Lindower and Kaedence Schmidt; her father and step mother Roger and Joni Poindexter; her sisters Dawn (Kenneth) Boley and Candace Gardner; her half-brothers Roger and Tim Poindexter; her step brothers Richard Cearfoss and Brandon Isner; her former husband Rick Flood; her lifelong friends Tammy Guthrie and Michelle Fry as well as a host of family members and friends. A Celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, July 07, 2016 at 7p.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4-7p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family to help defray funeral expenses.
