Daniel William Beatty

Daniel “Dan” Beatty, age 45 passed away suddenly from an Aortic Aneurysm on July 16, 2017. He was born on March 19, 1972 to Gilbert and Ruth Beatty. He was a 1990 graduate of Washington High School. Dan worked as a Direct Care Staffer for 10 years. Dan was a man of many passions; caring for others, as an amateur Wrestler for Wrestle for the Cure, devoting his time to the cause of Lupus (to which he lost his beloved sister Darbie), but most importantly his greatest passion was his son Kamdyn. He is survived by his son Kamdyn; his parents Gilbert and Ruth Beatty; his fiancé Anna Gotch; his siblings Don (Ashli) Beatty, Donna (Dave) Teece, Deborah (Sam) Knisley and Denise (Dan) Crist; the mother of his child Melissa Weltlich; his good friend Barbara McClintock and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
