Danny Laubacher Daniel Lee Laubacher, age 39, passed away unexpectedly and suddenly Tuesday, May 13, 2014. He was born May 16, 1974 the son of Lee and Jacqueline (Hoover) Laubacher. He graduated from Perry High School excelling in band, choir, speech and debate and theater. He was accepted into the Ohio Highway State Patrol Academy in 1998. He graduated from the Academy where he had been employed as a Patrolman for the past 14 years. He worked as a Highway State Patrolman but also touched the lives of many students through his School Intervention Training Outreach Program as well as being part of the Riot Team. He was known affectionately by his fellow troopers, friends and family as "Troop" and "Skinny". He was one of the most intelligent, quick-witted, well spoken human beings you could ever meet. He was known for passing out nicknames to his children and family members. Where he shined the most was making everyone around him warm with laughter and was a master story teller. He was so special and perfect in all ways as a Father, Husband, Son, Brother, Uncle, Son-in-law and Friend. Simply put…he was the "life of every party and family/friends get together". He was always there for anyone that needed help whether to fix something or lend a helping hand. There is no substitute or replacement for loss of him in Our Family. His legacy will live on through his children and all of our good memories, stories and the overall positive impact he had in each of our lives. We were truly blessed as he was a temporary gift to us from God. Not that Heaven could lack happiness…Danny sure adds a new element and dimension to humor in Heaven. Danny married his beautiful wife Jennifer (Young) Laubacher in 2000…later having three beautiful children Logan (10), Landrey (6) and Lexin (3). He was the youngest of six children. He is survived by his wife, his children, his parents, his father/mother in law, Ron and Sherri (Daugherty) Young; his siblings Mark and Cheryl (Maslouski) Laubacher of Columbus, Michael and Tracey (Bossler) Laubacher, Dean and Gabrielle (Highlander) Laubacher of Findlay, Jeff and Angela (Laubacher) Dimos and brother/sister-in-law Keith and Mindy (Young) Sonntag along with several nieces and nephews.
