Daniel L. Clark, 73, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, August 27, 2015, following an extended illness. He was born in Massillon on July 29, 1942 to the late Samuel and Armillar (Bryant) Clark. He is also preceded in death by his brothers, Norman Archie and Charlie Clark; and sisters, Dorsie Mae McFadden, Sammy Lee Bynum, Joyce Clark Bryant and Theresa Spencer. Daniel graduated from Washington High School, where he played basketball. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Daniel retired from Union Drawn as a foreman after 40 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed walking and going to the Rec Center with his brother Cornelius. Daniel is survived by his daughter, Danyale Clark and granddaughter, Kiara Gilmore both of Massillon; step-children, Delisa Cook, Atlanta, GA, Diane Barett, San Diego, CA and Dennis Clark , Akron; two sisters and a brother, Ira Jean Clark, Doloris Holloway and Cornelius (Carole) Clark all of Massillon; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Friends may call at the Shiloh Baptist Church on Saturday, September 5, 2015 from 10:00AM-11:00AM with a Homegoing Celebration at 11:00AM, Pastor Dennis Butts, Sr., Eulogist.
