Daniel K. Schliffka

Daniel K. Schliffka, age 74 passed away on December 29, 2014. He was born in Canton on November 20, 1940 to the late Paul and Effie Schliffka. He was a graduate of Lehman High School. He married Janet K. Willis on February 9, 1973. Daniel worked as a General Foreman at Republic Steel for 29 years until his retirement. In his spare time he liked to read and work crossword puzzles. He was an avid Ohio State Fan. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife Janet of 42 years; his children Daniel K. (Cindy) Schliffka, Kristen A. Forer, and Shari K. (Michael) Kerr; his step-children Jeff Allen Foutz and Lynn Foutz-Smith; 10 grandchildren. Services will be held at a later date.
