Daniel "Danny" Sherman Swihart

Daniel “Danny” Swihart, 66, passed away on August 23, 2021, following an extended illness. He was born in Canton on January 30, 1955 to Ronald and Rosemary (Myers) Swihart. Danny was a graduate of Glen Oak High School and worked as a truckdriver and in his retirement went to work at Menards. He was known for his sense of humor and he was always available to help. He is survived by his fiancée, Diana Lynn Smith; children, Amy (Doug) McClure and Daniel Swihart; grandchildren, Britni and Cortni; great-grandchildren, Isabella, Emma and Rylee; siblings, Debbie Bugh, Ronnie Swihart, Tammy Broad; and Joy Smitley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother and sister, Mike Smitley and Kay Plott.
