Daniel Charles Bruwier

Daniel Charles Bruwier, age 62 of Beach City, passed away Monday, November 19, 2012 at Affinity Hospital. Daniel was born in Belgium on July 16, 1950 but was a lifelong resident of Navarre, Ohio. Known for his young at heart attitude and the ability to tell a joke that would make people laugh or smile. He was an avid fisherman known by many as Husky Hooker always willing to share his best fishing tips or how to catch the big ones (like his 42 lb. flathead) at his favorite fishing holes. Danny was a member of Ohio Game Fishing. He had a love for oldies music and hot rods of yesterday with the Beach Boys as his favorite to sing to and his red 64 Dodge Polara to race the ¼ mile strip as his car of choice. Along with the love of his dodge, part of his heart always belonged to the Rawhide Motorcycle Club. He was preceeded in death by his wife of 21 years-Margie, his father Lucien Bruwier, and his grandparents Charles and Hubertine Bruhl. He is survived by his mother Mariette (Bruhl) Bruwier; his children Ramona Bruwier, Daniel Bruwier, Jennifer (Brian) Best , Jayne (Roman Hazzard) Bruwier; his grandchildren, Todd Bruwier, Kenneth Best, Jennifer Kiko, Devin, Roman, & Lucien Hazzard, and Brittany Best; his great grandchildren, Hanna, Brayden, Bentley, Morgan, and Noah; his brother, Francis (Wanda) Bruwier; and several nieces and nephews. Per his request, Danny has asked that those choosing to pay respects at calling hours wear jeans & T-shirts. "I'm not a person that likes to dress up and I want everyone to be comfortable." A Celebration of Daniel's Life will be held on Friday, November 23, 2012 at 7:00 P.M. at Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3-7 p.m. on Friday. Graveside services will follow at a later date at East Union Lawn Cemetery in Navarre. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Paquelet Funeral Home to cover expenses.
