Dale W. Indorf

Dale W. Indorf, age 86 of Navarre passed away Saturday March 28, 2009 at Aultman Hospital. Dale was born August 6, 1922 to Christian & Bernice (Culler) Indorf on the family farm where he lived his entire life. He retired in 1985 from Nickles Bakery after 32 years as a transport driver. Dale said he drove truck for a living and farmed for a hobby and never considered either to be work. He will be missed at the local hay and straw auctions and never hesitated to share the history of the farm and surrounding area. He was a member of Teamsters Local #92 and Faith Lutheran Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister: Russell Indorf, Lester Indorf & Gladys Indorf, and a granddaughter Jennifer Indorf (2003). He is survived by his wife Norma Jean (Rider) Indorf of the residence, with whom he would have celebrated 59 years of marriage on August 6th. They have three children and spouses: Gerald Indorf, Keith (Teri) Indorf, and Amy (Richard Williams) Indorf; and two grandchildren, Christian Indorf and Cheyenne Indorf. Funeral services for Dale will be 1 PM Wednesday at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Burial will be at Union Lawn Cemetery in Navarre.
