Dale Harbaugh

Dale E. Harbaugh, age 72, of Massillon, passed away Tuesday June 1, 2010 at Affinity Medical Center. He was born August 30, 1937 in North Lawrence the son of the late Guy Oliver and Myrtle (Ketler) Harbaugh. Dale was a self employed plastics engineer, and was a member of the Society of Plastics Engineers. He was a devout supporter of the Massillon football program. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. Dale is survived by his children Scott Edward (Linda) Harbaugh of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Brian Edward (Lindia) Harbaugh of Wake Forest, NC, Kelly Jean (Gordon J.) Perry of Roxboro, NC, and Dale Edward (Kerry) Harbaugh Jr. of Canton; brother Terry R. (Jeanne) Harbaugh of Massillon; grandchildren Cara, Dylan, Whitney, Christina, Corey, and Charles. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by sisters June Carol Yenni, and Judith M. Acetta. A memorial service will be held Saturday June 5th at 2:00 P.M. at the Dueber United Methodist Church, 645 Dueber SW, Canton where the family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. (noon) until the time of service. Pastor Chet Harris will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Dale’s memory may be given to the American Diabetes Association.
