Dale E. Wilson

Dale E. Wilson, age 86 of Massillon, passed away on Friday, November 28, 2014 at The Pines in Canton. He was born in Akron, Ohio on April 2, 1928 and was the son of the late Willard and Helen (Yerian) Wilson. He retired from Republic Steel where he was a supervisor. He was a member of Anchor Baptist Church. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Wilson, his grandson Ryan Wilson, his great granddaughter Nichole Danielle Troxell and his sisters, Juanita Feagain and Ruth Reed. He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Sandra (Kenneth) Cleaver of Canton, Gay (John) Fawcett of Palm Bay, FL and Gilbert (Cathy) Wilson of Round Rock, Texas, 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. The family is grateful to all of his friends and especially the staff at The Pines who showered him with love the last days of his life. A service to celebrate the life of Dale E. Wilson will take place on Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. at the Anchor Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Jacobs officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church from 10-11 A.M. Memorial gifts may be made in Mr. Wilson's name to Anchor Baptist Church, 2700 Richville Dr. SE, Massillon, OH 44646.
