Dale A. Studer, age 84 of Jackson Township, passed away on Monday, October 4, 2010 at Hanover House. He was born on January 31, 1926 in Navarre, Ohio and was the son of the late Grace (Trook) and Archie Studer. Dale graduated from the former Navarre High School and served four years in the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific during WWII. He served as president of Shaffer Rambler in Massillon and president of Pitkin Ford in Canal Fulton. He also served on the Massillon Savings and Loan and was president of the Stark County Auto Dealers Association. Dale was a member of the Clinton Lodge #47 F. & A.M. and the Al Koran Shrine. Along with his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his wife, Viola Studer, his sisters, Florence Aman and Hazel Gerber and his brothers, Nelson Studer and Glen Studer. He is survived by his son, Randal D. Studer of Jackson Twp. and his grandson Brett Studer of Massillon, six nieces and six nephews. A service to celebrate his life will take place on Friday at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
