D. Jean Flores

D. Jean Flores age 78 of Massillon passed away November 27, 2014 after a long illness. Jean was born September 16, 1936 in Fly to the late John & Daisy (Collins) Winter. She was a 1954 graduate of Washington High School and had been employed at Hammersmith Insurance. Jean and her husband followed the Tigers, Buckeyes, all Cleveland sports and their children's activities. Time she could spend with the girls playing cards and laughing was very important to her. She cherished her friends and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Richard Flores in 2011. Jean is survived by three children: Debbi Flores of Chicago, David Flores and Scott (Alissa) Flores all of Columbus. There are two grandchildren, Jack & Ella Flores. A Memorial Service will be at 2 PM Sunday at the Paquelet Funeral Home, the Rev. Larry Lalama will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service until 4 PM at the funeral home.
