Cynthia "Cindy" L. Hammock

Cynthia L. Hammock, 64, of North Lawrence, passed away on September 1, 2022, after a courageous 3-year battle with cancer. She was born on June 22, 1958, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Robert and Maryann (Dinneen) Hogan.

Cindy was a proud 1976 graduate of Jackson High School, as well as a graduate from Stark State where she received her associate degree.

Cindy always had a very outgoing personality and could sing and dance just about anywhere. She had a love for music and was just a fun person to be around. She sure could brighten anyone’s day with her infectious smile.

She also loved traveling to the beach, especially Myrtle Beach which she frequented often. The sun and the sand were where she felt most at peace.

Her greatest achievement in life was her family. Cindy was a devoted daughter, mother, sister, and grandmother. Grandma Cindy was no doubt her proudest title.

She will be deeply missed by her beloved daughters, Meghan (Chris) Abner and Melanie (Dave) Abner; her mother Maryann Hogan; sister Carolyn Schoeppner; grandchildren who were her pride and joy, Aiden, Evan and Noah; loving boyfriend Tim Ebie; and her furry companion, Molly who was always by her side.

Cindy was preceded in death by her father, Robert Hogan.
