Curtis W. Romans

Curtis W. " Hop" Romans, 50 passed away unexpectedly at Affinity Medical Center on Thursday October 18, 2012. He was born on June 1, 1962 in Ronceverte WV to the late Homer and Hilda (Miller) Romans. " Hop" worked as a stone / block mason for A-Y Masonry until his health no longer allowed him to work. He was known for his generosity, kindness, and hard work. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by two daughters, Tonya Romans of Massillon, Rachel Foster of Rising Sun, three sons, Michael W. Romans of Barberton, Kenneth Romans, Massillon, Jamie (Amy) Starcher of Apple Creek, eleven grandchildren, four sisters, Nera (David) McManus, Pamela "Pat" Palaski, Opal (George) Snyder, Deborah (David) Davis all of Massillon, a brother, Homer Romans of Massillon, and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by, three brothers, Foster R., Randy E., Johnson L. Romans, and a grandson, Tristen Foster.
