Curry D. Danzy, 95, went home to be with the Lord on May 11, 2015. He was born in Thomasville, AL on July 10, 1919 to the late Elijah and Dosha (Stutts) Danzy. Curry was a hard worker, retiring from Massillon Steel Castings after 32 years, then owned and operated his own Waste pickup business. He loved gardening. He always told people to: "work hard and pay your bills". His greatest accomplishment was as a loving, supporting husband and father to those nieces and nephews that he took as his own and raising them up, along with his children. He always enjoyed spending time with them. He is survived by "All His Children" IN Whom I Love", Sons, Daughters, Nieces and Nephews, Jack (Mamie) Fountain of Las Vegas, NV, Dorothy Ann Danzy of Massillon, William (Cindy) Spencer, of TX, Charles (Trina) Danzy of Massillon, Sammuel George of Columbus, Viola (Lisbon) James of Massillon, Bessie (Danny) Hollandsworth of OK, Beatrice of MI, Betty Jean of Cleveland; great- granddaughter Tonya Danzy; three great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Curry is also preceded in death by his wife, Rosie L Danzy; a daughter, Rosie Danzy; six sisters, Aruah, Leola, Bessie, Viola, Dosha and Rosie and three brothers, Charlie, Genie and Columbus. Friends and family may call at the Shiloh Baptist Church on Monday, May 18, 2015 from 10:00AM-11:00AM, with A Home Going Celebration to follow at 11:00AM conducted by Rev. Anthony Robinson.
