Crystal (Smer) Charleston

Crystal (Smer) Charleston age 69 of Massillon went to be with the Lord on Saturday January 5, 2013. Crystal was born August 10, 1943 in Massillon to the late George & Anna (Salopek) Smer and was a 1961 graduate of Washington High School and was a three star majorette with the Tiger Swing Band. In 1962 she graduated from Massillon Beauty School. She loved reading the Bible and praying for all. Crystal will be remembered for her warm smile and giving heart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Rick (1987) and Bob (2003). She is survived by three children and their spouses: Gary (Sherry) Wells Jr., Michelle (LaMar) Webb and Mark (Anna Marie) Wells; two sisters Pat Getz and Barbara Eliades and six grandchildren: Tyler, Taylor, Hunter, Jordan, Logan and Jevon. And many additional family members and friends. A Celebration of Crystal's Life will be Thursday at 10:30 A.M. at Faith Family Church. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
