Courtney Jane Harding

Courtney J. Harding passed away on October 22, 2015 at the age of 32. Courtney was born in Canton on November 17, 1982 to her loving parents Larry and Jane Oakes. She was a 2001 graduate of Jackson High School. She married Jeremiah Harding, of New Philadelphia, on August 11, 2007. Courtney was a proud graduate of University of Akron and a passionate Licensed Social Worker. Courtney was a kind spirit who enjoyed helping others, whether they be friend or stranger. She was an animal lover. Courtney always had a Starbucks Frappuccino in hand, loved to dance and watch movies. Courtney had a energy and passion that was present in everything she encountered throughout her life. She will forever be remembered as a devoted Wife and Mother, loving Daughter, caring Sister and Aunt and beloved Friend. Courtney is survived by her husband, Jeremiah Harding; her daughter Olive Jane Harding; her father Larry Oakes and mother Jane Oakes; her sisters, Jennifer (Brian) Hoffman and Megan (Aaron) Brownsword; Nieces, Aubrey and Brenna (Hoffman), Taylor, Brooklyn and Madison (Brownsword); Aunt, Anne McGaughey; Grandmother, Bonnilee Custer; Grandfather, Galen Oakes and a host of loving family and friends. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Olive Harding's name at any FirstMerit Bank location.
