Connie Bradley Voican

Connie S. Bradley Voican, age 57, of Massillon, Ohio was surrounded by her loving family when she passed away from an extended illness on Tuesday, August 16, 2016. She was born October 16, 1958 in Alliance, Ohio and was the daughter of John L. and Darlene (Hoffman) Bradley, who reside in Homeworth, Ohio. She is survived by her loving children, Natalie Voican (Justin) Eicher and Nicholas Voican, both of Raleigh, North Carolina, ex-husband John S. Voican, two sisters, Sherry (John) Fergason and Tracy (Darrell) Jones, both of Louisville and many nieces and nephews. She graduated from Marlington High School in 1977 and in that same year she was crowned Canton Pro Football Hall of Fame Queen. She later graduated from Kent State University with her marketing degree. She was a long-tenured employee of Harter/Society Bank, followed by many well spent years at home raising her children. She was passionate about cooking for her family and friends, caring for the elderly (this included employment with The Visiting Angels Society of Canton), interior decorating, animals, the environment, and party/event planning. She had a lifelong love for learning that included certification for massage therapy and esthetics and, an extended education for dietetics and nursing. The family lovingly labeled her as "The Professional Student." Most of all, Connie loved her family, who wishes to extend a special thank you to the compassionate staff at Mercy Hospice and the Visiting Angels Society of Canton for the outstanding care that she received during her illness. A celebration of Connie's life will be held at Paquelet & Arnold Lynch Funeral Home in Massillon on August 27, 2016 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Mercy Hospice and the Visiting Angels Society of Canton.
