Connie A. Yackee

Connie A. Yackee, age 58 of Massillon, passed away at her home surrounded by her family. Her death followed a 4 month illness. She was born on September 5, 1956 in Massillon and was the daughter of the late John and Corrinne (Heckathorn) Kohl. Connie graduate from Washington High School in 1974, she went on to work for the Massillon Post Office for 38 years. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Richard Yackee. She is survived by her husband, Mark R. Yackee, whom she married on August 25, 1980, her son, Richard Yackee, her brothers, James Kohl and his wife Janet, John T. Kohl and Debra Hoffner and her husband Kevin. Also surviving are her brother-in-law and James Yackee and his wife Barbara, her mother-in-law Frances Yackee and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Monday at 1:00 p.m. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with burial following at Brookfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday one hour before the service.
