Clyde R. Mitchal

Clyde R. Mitchal, age 83 of Perry Twp. passed away Thursday November 10, 2011 at Aultman Hospital. Clyde was born December 15, 1927 in Cleveland, OH. He was a 1946 graduate of Washington High School and received an engineering degree from the University of Akron. He retired from Hercules Engines (formerly White Motors) in 1992. A voracious reader, with a quick mind, his intellect and inquisitive nature permeated every area of his life. His energy allowed him to remain very active until his stroke in 2010 and he was known as a tinker until the very end. Clyde will be remembered as devoted family man and was predeceased by his wife of nearly 50 years, Marilyn (2006); a sister Yvonne and a brother Willard. Clyde will be dearly missed by his four children: Saundra Mitchal of Arlington, VA, Marsha (Merrick) Malone of Alexandra, VA; Rodney Mitchal of Lawrenceville, GA and Karen Mitchal of Atlanta, GA.; a granddaughter Shannon Holland, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends A Celebration of Clyde Mitchal’s life will be at Noon Saturday November 12, 2011 at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Friends may call from 11 AM until the service. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. The family will be receiving guests at his home starting at 2:30 PM on Saturday.
