Clarissa "Criss" Mae Boyd

Clarissa (Criss) M. Boyd, age 80 of Massillon, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on May 20, 2021. She was born in Wooster, Ohio on February 12, 1941 to the late William and Lillian (Gerberich) Goodman. Criss was a devoted housewife and mother of 4 children. Criss enjoyed playing cards with family, visiting her sister and spending time in her church. Criss was preceded in death by her husband Dallas Eugene Boyd, her daughter Connie (Boyd) Smith and brother Warren Goodman. Criss is survived by her brother John (Rosalie) Goodman, sister Alverda Feeman, sister in law Elizabeth Goodman. She will be forever deeply missed by her surviving 3 children LaDonna McCleary, Beth (Marty) Boyd and Eugene Boyd. Also survived by grandchildren Christin Trubey, Heather Sago, Chad (Courtney) Pyles, Jason Pyles, Ronnie Smith, Ryan Smith, Katrina Karnes and many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and dear friend Willa Reynolds. Friends and family may come to call on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 from 5-8 p.m. at Paquelet Funeral Home. Services will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. also at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Wooster Cemetery. Continuing with COVID-19 precautions, all attending will be asked to follow proper social distancing protocol and masks are required.
