Clarice "Joan" Keen

Clarice “Joan” Keen, age 82 of Massillon passed away on May 12, 2019. She was born to the late Matthew and Wilma Dolney on April 20, 1937 in Ava, Ohio. She was a 1955 graduate of Central Catholic High School. She married Ronald E. Keen on January 25, 1958 and they shared 37 years together until his passing in 1995. Clarice was a medical secretary for Dr. Thomas Violand until her retirement. She was a member of the Massillon/Canton East Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall. Clarice enjoyed reading, spending time at Myrtle Beach, camping and going to garage sales with her granddaughter Ellen. Clarice is survived by her children Cynthia J. Gottsabend, Ronald E. Keen Jr. and Daniel M. Keen; her grandchildren Eric J. Gottsabend, Ellen M. Gottsabend, Ronald E. Keen III, and Sarah J. Morrison; 2 great-grandchildren; her sister Geneva (Kenneth) Judd as well as a host of family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, June 01, 2019 at the Canton East Congreation - Kingdom Hall - 3611 Lesh St NE., Canton, OH 44705, The family will recieve friends from 12 noon until the time of the service.
