Clarence E. Ferguson, aged 86 passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on, Saturday, April 14, 2012. He was born in Orrville, Ohio on September 4, 1925 to the late William and Edna Ferguson. He married Charlotte Dunham in 1946, and they were together until her passing in 2003 Clarence was employed with the Norfolk and Southern Railroad for 40 years until his retirement. He was known for his love of dancing and music. Clarence will be remembered as a caring, positive and upbeat person as well as being a devoted family man. He was a long time member of Grace United Church of Christ in Massillon. He is survived by his son, Vance (April) Ferguson, son-in-law Ted Gravius; 3 grandchildren, Tonya Heffelfinger, Kara Ferguson, and Zoey Ferguson; and 2 great grandchildren, Andrea Heffelfinger and Laylee Righetti . In addition to his parents and his wife, Clarence was preceded in death by his daughter, Bridget Gravius; a sister Lila Brand and a brother Kenneth Ferguson. A Funeral Service will be held at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home in Massillon on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 12:00 Noon, Pastor Barry Stirbens, officiating . The family will receive friends from 11 A.M until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville.
