Clarence E. ‘Gene' Kutzli

Clarence E. ‘Gene' Kutzli, age 60 of Perry Hts., passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2008, at Hanover House following a short illness. Gene was born August 30, 1947, in Liberty Center, OH to the late Fernando and Rosemary (Mueller) Kutzli. Following high school he entered the US Navy and retired after 20 years. After his retirement from the US Navy he moved to Stark County. Gene was currently employed by the City of Canton in the Water Department. He loved the outdoors and spent many weekends on his land near Cambridge, OH. His dream was to retire on this land. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers: David, Lawrence and Marvin Kutzli. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Audrey M. (Richard) Kutzli of the residence; two children and a son in law, Christopher Kutzli and Angela and John Hackenberg; six grandchildren, Cassie, Christopher, Haylee, Kristynn, Autumn and Jonathon; three sisters and two brothers, Bryce and Emmie Kutzli of Manchester, TN, Cynthia Kerr of Defiance, OH, Kevin and Judith Kutzli of Liberty Center, OH, Darcy Kutzli of Defiance, OH and Grace and Albert Castillo of Napoleon, OH. Friends may call Saturday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m and Sunday from Noon until the service at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon.
