Clarence W. Koontz, 75, of Massillon, passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2019. Clarence was born on August 16, 1944 in Massillon, the son of the late Clarence and Mary (Ivan) Koontz. He was a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of Washington High School. Bill was a United States Army veteran and served our country during Vietnam. He loved hunting, fishing, canoeing, and playing Poker. He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon (Cox) Koontz, whom he shared 44 years; children, Kimberly Davis and Clarence “Skeeter” (Ashley) Koontz, Jr.; grandchildren, Corey, Nicholas, Tanner, Jazzlynn, and Kaylee; sisters, Sandra Jones and Crystal Orr; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service with Military Honors will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, Ohio on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at 1 p.m..
