Clara Rohr, 82 of Canal Fulton, passed away Monday, August 15, 2016. Clara was born on October 1, 1933 in Massillon the daughter of the late August and Eva Peters. She was a lifelong resident of the area. Clara worked with her husband, Dale, building Clardale Farms. She spent most of her time raising 10 children. Clara enjoyed square dancing, Euchre, and painting porcelain dolls as well as pictures. She was a member of Sweet Adelines, Farm Bureau and St. Philip and James. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her grandson, Carl Rohr, great granddaughters, Samantha Kemp, Marissa Miracle and Serenity Morgan, brothers, August Jr., Jerry, Robert, and Albert Peters and her sister, Evelyn DeRush and Mary Peters. She is survived by her husband Dale Rohr with whom she shared 65 years of marriage; her children and their spouses, Steve (Connie) Rohr, Cindy (Ray) Nutter, Vicki (Roy) Kemp, Scott (Nova) Rohr, Tim (Karen Valentine) Rohr, Bruce (Rhonda) Rohr, Randy (Barbara) Rohr, Dennis (Diane) Rohr, Wayne (Donna) Rohr, Brian (Laurie) Rohr, and Bob (Kathy) Powell; 28 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; and sister-in-laws, Kay Peters and Dorothy Peters; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 19, 2016 at 10 a.m. at St. Philip & James Catholic Church in Canal Fulton. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Philip & James School.
