Christopher Michael Hallett, 49, of Massillon, passed away unexpectedly on January 7th, 2024. He was born on October 19, 1974, in Cleveland, Ohio to his parents, Scott Hallett and Karen (McNabb) Hallett.
He was a 1993 graduate of Massillon Washington High School.
Chris was a hard worker and a self-taught handy man. He could fix almost anything whether it was electrical, plumbing or even working on cars. Whatever the task was, even if he had to learn as he went, he would always finish the job.
In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and four-wheeling with his son, Christopher, who was his greatest accomplishment. He was and always will be proud of him.
Chris also met the love of his life, Carmen McCall, 17 years ago, and together they raised not only Christopher, but also Carmen’s daughter, Lohgan, who Chris loved as his own.
One thing no one ever needed to second guess was the love that Chris had for his family.
He will be deeply missed by his son, Christopher Hallett; longtime-girlfriend, Carmen McCall; stepdaughter, Lohgan Worley; mother Karen Hallett; father and stepmother, Scott & Denise Hallett; brother Joe Hallett; aunts and uncles, Patricia Bachtel, Deborah (Karl) Spinden, William (Myla) McNabb, Janet (Richard) Linthicum, Kimberly Jones, Charlene Thornberry, Laurie (Kenny) McCune and Mike (Jenny) Hallett; as well as many loved cousins.
Chris was preceded in death by his brother, Jayson Hallett, paternal grandparents Don and Rose Hallett and maternal grandparents, George and Mary McNabb.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation will take place and no services are planned at this time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Stark County Humane Society, 5100 Peach St NE, Louisville, OH 44641.
