Christina R. Rowe

Christina Rowe, age 84 of Massillon, died on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Rose Lane Health Care Center. She was born in Canton, Ohio on August 2, 1928 and was the daughter of the late Leroy and Alice (Klein) Barnes. Christina was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved playing and teaching card games to her grandchildren. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne G. Rowe, Sr., her son James A. Rowe, her brothers, Raymond Barnes and Leroy Barnes and her sister Alberta Evans. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Barbara (Danny) Wadsworth, Wayne (Pam) Rowe, Jr., David (Patricia ) Rowe, John (Marilyn) Rowe and Brian (Regina) Rowe, her daughter-in-law, Patricia Wells, 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Also surviving are her brother, James (Ann) Barnes and her sisters, Theresa (Jack) Litman, Grace (Pete) Barton and Lucille (Joseph) Dubina. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. THE PROCESSION WILL FORM AT THE CHURCH. Burial will follow at Brookfield Cemetery. There are no calling hours. The family wishes to thank Rose Lane for the outstanding care that was given to their mother.
