Christina Marie (Lemonte) Lijoi

Christina Marie (LeMonte) Lijoi, 42, of Massillon, passed away peacefully at her residence surrounded by her family on Thursday, August 15, 2024 following a lengthy battle with cancer. Christina was born on January 30, 1982 in Canton, Ohio the daughter of William LeMonte and Cynde Reed.

Christina grew up in Louisville, Ohio. Most important to Christina was being a mother to her children. She had a love for music, a passion for fashion and expression. Christina was very artistic including: writing, drawing, sewing, and painting.

She loved nature and animals. Christina loved to laugh and be with her family. She had a way of making people feel welcomed. She was also very giving and loved helping others.

She is survived by her children, Anna, Alexander, Leeah, Jazmine, and Jozayah; mother, Cynde Reed; sisters and brothers, Joy Holbrook, John Stone, Michelle (Mike) Thomas, Julie (Jeff) Sayoc, Jennifer LeMonte, and Josh LeMonte; nieces and nephews, Tori, Alan, Ellenore, Markkie, Mitch, Forrest, Mya, Harmony, Liam, Linnea, Larissa, Mylan, Cody, Xavior, Laura, Alexis, Isaiah, and Malachi.

Christina was preceded in death by her father, William LeMonte; sister, Laurie LeMonte; and brother, Zach LeMonte.

A private graveside service will be held at Union Cemetery in Louisville, OH. A Memorial service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints at a later date.
