Charles “Chuck” D. Ellison, age 67 of Canal Fulton, went home to be with the Lord surrounded by his loving family. Chuck was born on August 23, 1950 in Barberton, Ohio to the late Charles and Mae (Markley) Ellison. He was a 1969 graduate of Norton High School. He married Dianna L. Stahl on August 07, 1971 and she survives. Chuck worked at Roadway and later was a Licensed Practical Nurse for over 20 years until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, music, and Karaoke, but most importantly Chuck was a people person who never knew a stranger. He will forever be remembered as a devoted family man who loved his wife, children, grandchildren, sisters, brother and friends. Chuck was truly devoted to the Lord and shared his faith with others and was thankful for everyone and everything in his life. Chuck is survived by Dianna, his wife of 47 years; his children Mindy (John) Corder, Karie (Brian) Lapikas and Chuck Ellison; his grandchildren Marisa (Mike) Shaner, Brandon Lapikas, Rylie Lapikas, and Noah Corder; his sisters Sandra Walker and Debbie Ellison; his brother Ed (Karen) Ellison and a host of family members and friends. A Celebration of Chuck’s Life will be held at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 4p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4p.m. Donations in Chuck’s memory can be made to St. Jude’s and the Wounded Warriors Project. www.paquelet.com
