Charles "Chuck" Curtiss Degordon

Charles "Chuck" C. DeGordon, 54, passed away at home unexpectedly on Tuesday, June18, 2013. He was born in Massillon on April 25, 1959. Chuck was a graduate of Washington High School, Class of 1977. He was employed by Schneider National until his retirement due to health in 2008. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, hunting and gardening. He was the Massillon Marble Champion in 1970.Chucks life was dedicated to his family and he will be greatly missed. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Massillon. He is survived by his children, Gerald W. (Nikki Nicsinger) DeGordon II of Bolivar, Samantha (Anthonie Goodrich) DeGordon of Massillon, Debra (Joseph Huber) DeGordon of Cuyahoga Falls, Danielle (Hayden Cole) DeGordon of Canal Fulton, five grandchildren, Dreyvan Goodrich, Connar Goodrich, Karliah Cole, Angel Nicsinger, Hailey Nicsinger, his mother, Judith A. (George Matie) DeGordon of Massillon, his brother, Michael W. (Margaret Peggy) DeGordon of Massillon and a sister, Mary Ann Knight of New Philadelphia. He is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara DeGordon, father, Gerald W. DeGordon, two sisters, Debra Lynn DeGordon and Georgetta June DeGordon Riley. Friends may call on Friday, June 21, 2013 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 10:00AM in the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the National Wildlife Federation.
