Celestine Furlow

Celestine Furlow, 75, of Massillon passed away Wednesday morning April 1, 2009 at the Laurels of Massillon. She was born May 26, 1933 in Strong, AR the daughter of Frank Jackson and Alsie (Slade) Dixon. Celestine was an extension agent for the Ohio State University Cooperative Extension Agency for 25 years retiring in 1990. She is survived by her mother Alsie Dixon of Strong, AR; sons Ronald Furlow of Canton, Donald and Gerald Furlow both of Columbus, and Windfred Furlow of Canton; sister Ernestine Lawson of Strong, AR; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; several loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Frank Jackson, and step-father Mose Dixon. Visitation will be Monday from 4-6 P.M at Paquelet Funeral Home 1100 Wales Rd. NE. A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with additional visitation from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Curtis Perry III will officiate.
