Carolyn J. Young

Carolyn J. Young, age 68 of North Lawrence, died Friday, June 29, 2007 at Shady Lawn Nursing Home. She was born on May 21, 1939 in North Lawrence, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Donald A. & Edna (Barkman) Young. She was a lifelong area resident. In 1957, Carolyn graduated from Washington High School. In 2001, she retired from Key Bank at 30th St. Plaza in Canton. She was a member of Central Presbyterian Church where she had served as a deacon. She is survived by her brother, Ronald L. Young of North Lawrence, OH, her nieces, Robin (Richard) Slagle of Clarion, PA and Debbie Svab of Clinton, OH, great nieces and nephews, Steven Svab, Craig Semelsberger, Jason Hostetler, Jessica & Chad Hostetler. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday at 1:30 P.M. at Central Presbyterian with Rev. Larry Lalama officiating. Burial will follow in Dalton Cemetery. Friends may call at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Monday (TONIGHT) from 6-8 P.M. and on Tuesday one hour before the service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Carolyn’s name to either Central Presbyterian Church or the American Cancer Society.
