Carolyn Elizabeth Fisher, 77, passed away unexpectedly after contracting covid, on January 2, 2022 at Cleveland Clinic/Mercy Hospital. She was born on October 28, 1944 in Massillon to the late James L. and Ann M. (Grant) Fisher. Carolyn was a graduate of Washington High School and was the Co-owner of Carol K’s Restaurant. She also worked for Gerber Poultry and eventually retired from Gas Light Villa as their head cook. Known for her cooking, she was everyone’s favorite Aunt, always available to listen and give advice, even if you didn’t want it. She loved playing games on her iPad, Keno, poker and other games of skill. She had a love of animals and loved taking care of her dog Kasey and her cats. She is survived by her siblings, Jackie Petyovszki and Guy (Shirley) Fisher; special nieces and nephews, Kathy Ehmer, Zoe Kandle, Clay Spangler, Andy Petyovszki and Carrie Petyovszki; and many other nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Virginia L. “Ginger” Spangler, Robert “Butch” Fisher and James Fisher; and special friend, Carol K. Jurkovich.
