Carol J. Miller, 76, of Massillon, passed away on December 9, 2024 at Amherst Meadows Nursing Center. 

She was born on January 2, 1948 to the late Don and Miriam (Baxter) Miller in Canton, OH. 

A 1960 graduate of Glenwood High School, she received both her Associate and Bachelor Degrees from Akron University and a Bachelor Degree from Malone University. She worked as a Respiratory Therapist at Mercy Medical for 42 years and also taught Technical Education at Riverview Schools in Coshocton. Carol was a member of Lowell United Church of Christ, Jobs Daughters Chapter Canton Masonic Temple, and bowled with the Mercy Medical Team. When she was in collage she played Basketball and Softball at Malone University. She enjoyed watching OSU and Brown's Football, playing cards and taking trips to Amish country with her best friend of 60 years, Pat Hyatt.

Carol is survived by her niece and nephew, Justin Miller and Tracy (Tim) Miller-Pearce; great-niece, Ashley Miller; and best friend, Patricia Hyatt.

She is also survived by all the kids that looked at her as their aunt, Christen (Shawn) Campbell, Robyn Rowles, Kim Sink, Michelle (Craig) Reynolds, Cody and Callie Reynolds, Austin Willis, Tyler (Tianna) Willis, and Duke and Daisy Willis; and many cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Larry D. Miller and Kenneth M. Miller; and aunts and uncles, Joe and Joyce Miller, Catherine and Robert Sabo, Chuck and Pauline Miller, Ray and Naomi Kinser, and Jack and Ruth Miller.

A private inurnment will take place at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice or Amherst Meadows.
