Carol L. Travis

Carol L. Travis, age 69 of Massillon died peacefully in the comfort of her daughter's home surrounded by her family on March 7, 2012. She is now in heaven with her husband of 52 years, Neil Travis (2010). She was born April 25, 1942 in Youngstown, OH to the late Jake & Mae (Eseinewine) Stewart. Carol Travis retired from Massillon Cable TV where she was employed for 23 years and made lifelong friends with the Gessner Family. Carol will be deeply missed by the dear friends she worked with. Carol is survived by her three children and their spouses, Bob & Gloria Travis of Guam, Chris & Pam Travis of Massillon and Vicki & David Robbins of Massillon. She will be missed by her 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and a sister in law. Carol was known for her exuberant personality and always had a smile for family and friends. Carol loved her family dearly and will be sadly missed and remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. A family only committal service will be at Newman Cemetery.
