Carol L. Simmons

Carol L. Simmons, 86, passed away peacefully at home in Glasgow, KY, on December 22, 2018. She was born in Massillon, OH on May 17, 1932 to the late Leonard L. and Edna P. (Feather) Howell. She managed apartment complexes and was a member of the Larabee Mitchell Club, Glasgow, KY and a former member of South Side Baptist Church. Carol is survived by her husband, Ernest “Bud” Simmons whom she married on July 29, 1950; their children, Katherine Siano, Mark Simmons and Karen Parker; five grandchildren, Matt, Angie, Elizabeth, Tommy and Daniel; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; three sisters, Georgia Dale, Lenore (Tom) Janata and Sandra (Charles) Evans. She is also preceded in death by her sisters, Shirley Scofield and Joyce Bleigh. Friends and family may call at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, 1100 Wales RD NE, Massillon, OH 44646, on Saturday, December 29, 2018 from 9am-11am with a Celebration of Carol’s Life to be held at 11am in the funeral home, Scott Thornberry, officiating.
